About Your Opportunity:
In this role you will optimize HR processes, manage the HRIS platform, and provide support for HR initiatives. Work closely with the Director of Human Resources and HR department to help identify and develop HR initiatives that align with our business objectives.

How You’ll Contribute:
- Engage in identifying and developing personal and departmental goals in alignment with the company V/TO (Vision/Traction Organizer). Monitor progress with defined milestones to ensure timely achievement.
- Manage HRIS platform, including (but not limited to):
- Offer technical support across the organization, managing HRIS platform integrations, setup, configurations, and ongoing enhancements.
- Collaborate with manages, team members, and the HR team to identify internal processes that leverage the HRIS platform, offering solutions and improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Administrator for surveys and questionnaires using BambooHR, delivering insightful reports to inform decision-making and HR strategy.
- Contributes to the new hire orientation and onboarding process for all Wohlsen team members, which involves participating in orientation and creating or updating checklists.
- Oversee the lifecycle of company job descriptions, from initial creation to periodic updates.
- Ensure performance management process is excuted in timely manner and serve as a resource for leaders.
- Collaborate with the Director of HR to analyze benefits offerings & wellness iniatives, provide support during open enrollment, and assist with the administration of medical, dental, and vision benefits. This includes monitoring claims, troubleshooting issues, processing payments for invoices, and overseeing COBRA administration.
- Administrator for NQDC and ESOP including compliance, audits, and reporting.
- Supports annual compensation planning and incentive program participation, including setting up spreadsheets or providing data to managers.
- Regularly update and maintain SharePoint and BambooHR with pertinent HR content to facilitate easy access and dissemination of information.
- Create and distribute HR communication materials to educate team members and provide essential resources.
- Assist Talent Acquisition Specialist with recruitment activities as needed.
- Document processes related to the HR Operations Specialist role to establish resources, ensure consistency in practice, and assist in cross training.
- Provide comprehensive support to the HR Team and Wohlsen across various departmental functions and undertake additional duties as required.
- Conduct internal and external audits and fulfill reporting requirements to ensure compliance with all HR-related regulations.
- Assists in monitoring and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, while offering recommendations on best practices.
Relationships
- Reports to the Director of Human Resources
- Provides support to the HR Team.
- Provides support to the organization with regards to all HR services
Authority
- Research and recommend enhancements to BambooHR
- Continually monitor and update BambooHR and SharePoint
- Provide support and system access to leaders utilizing BambooHR
- Stay informed of legal and compliance requirements
Accountability
- HRIS Data Integrity
- Looks for ways to continually improve HR processes and services
- Provide support to meet HR goals and initiatives.
- Document HR processes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or similar field, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years in Human Resources
- HR Certification desirable
- Experience with BambooHR preferred
- Valid Driver’s License and ability to travel.
- Ability to work additional hours as needed.
- Must be innovative and entrepreneurial.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software systems, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Physical Requirements:
In a normal day, this position requires little to no standing or walking. In a normal day, the employee must be able to sit for 7+ hours. In a normal day, the employee must be able to drive 1-4 hours. Employee must be able to lift/carry up to 10 lbs. maximum; occasionally carry small objects. In this position, employee occasionally (0-33%) must be able to bend at waist, squat the knees, climb (including ladders), reach above shoulders, kneel, crawl, use feet (foot controls), and/or work at heights above 6 feet.
